Meet our new team members!

We give our warmest welcome to Juan, Sacha, and Elpidio to the ZARATHUSTRA project!

Juan will be working until the end of the project on the development of kinetic plasma simulation codes, with the additional support of Community of Madrid (cofunded by Comunidad de Madrid and the European Social Fund Plus, ESF+, 2021-2027 PEJ2024 program)

Sacha (EPFL) and Elpidio (UniNa) are MSc students that will carry out their MSc theses in the framework of the project at UC3M, for a duration of 6 months: Sacha will take advanced probe measurements of the plasma properties in a magnetic arch, while Elpidio will study azimuthal oscillations in an electron-cyclotron plasma thruster.

Welcome Gloria Nallo!

We are happy to welcome onboard Gloria Nallo! Her work will focus on the experimental characterization of the magnetic arch. Her research is linked with the ERC Proof of Concept grant NEPTUNE, which capitalises on the results of ZARATHUSTRA.
