Best paper distinction for 4 ZARATHUSTRA contributions in IEPC2024

Four of our team’s contributions to the recent International Electric Propulsion Conference (IEPC2024) were awarded with a Best Paper distinction in their respective sessions. It is the recognition of hard work, with half of our submissions beeing awarded.

The papers will also be published in a special issue of the Journal of Electric Propulsion, edited by Stéphane Mazouffre and Laurent Garrigues. You can find the list of the papers below (team members are in bold)

P. Jiménez, M. Merino, L. Chacón (2024),  An Implicit Energy- and Charge- conserving Electromagnetic PIC algorithm for Paraxial Magnetic Nozzles, 38th International Electric Propulsion Conference, Toulouse, France.

C. Boyé, J. Navarro-Cavallé, M. Merino, A. Lecervoisier, S. Mazouffre, Determining ion velocity in the interconnected plume of a cluster of two ECRTs using 2D LIF, 38th International Electric Propulsion Conference, Toulouse, France.
